New provincial crosswalk laws have no effect on the town of Bancroft.
The law states drivers must give pedestrians the right of way to cross the whole roadway at any crosswalk with specific signs, roads marker or lights. Seeing as none of the courtesy crosswalks in Bancroft are designated in that way, the law does not affect any of them.
However, it is still a law that applies to the entire province.
