Bancroft is set to receive two-million dollars from the province to improve the local water supply.
This is on top of a number of provincial grants having been received in Hastings County.
The province announced yesterday Limerick Township will be receiving over $1.5-million to repair Steenburg Lake North Road, with Wollaston set to receive over $1.1-million to repair that same road and Ridge Road.
Tweed, Centre Hastings, and Marmora and Lake are also included in the 19 approved projects in Eastern Ontario to receive money through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund.
