Haliburton Highlands OPP searching for a missing person

The OPP is asking for the public’s help to find a Bowmanville man, believed to have gone missing near the Village of Haliburton.

47-year-old David Palmer was last seen on Friday October 2nd 2015. His 2002 brown Honda Accord, with licence plates BWCZ 783, was found near Spruce Lake Trail on October 14th.

Palmer is described as white, six-feet-tall, weighing 280 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. When he was last seen, Palmer was wearing a dark coloured St. Louis Blues hat, a dark coloured coat, a blue shirt, grey track pants, and white running shoes.

Police believe foul play could be a factor.

The OPP will be searching for the man in the area north of the Village of Haliburton.

Anyone with information in this case is being asked to call the Haliburton Highlands OPP. If you find any suspicious items, you are being asked not to touch or move them.
