Some parts of Algonquin Park remain closed due to the conditions.
This comes despite the park having originally expected to see many backcountry camp sites, ranger cabins and portages open today.
The park is now expecting to have the Brent Campground, the Access Point on Cedar Lake, Ranger Cabins, Crater Trail and Tower, the Wendigo Lake Access Point and the North River Access Point open on Friday.
The Brent Permit Office is also closed until that time.
All lakes in Algonquin Park are being reported as ice free, although officials ask you to stay safe while on the water as it is still very cold.
