Bancroft Council could soon be looking for requests for proposals for the town’s water and waste water contract.
A notice of motion was presented to the Committee of the Whole, stating the cost of operations and maintenance under the current contract cannot be sustained by the municipality.
It is also requesting the town look into RFPs for oversite managers if the operations were to be brought in-house.
Bancroft Council will be discussing the motion at a later date.
