A garden dedication is happening in Bancroft today to honour Canada’s role in the Dutch liberation during World War II.
A ceremony is being held to celebrate the Dutch government’s donation of 1,400 tulip bulbs to the Bancroft Business Improvement Area and the Bancroft Horticultural Society.
The tulips have been planted on both sides of the Cenotaph, where the ceremony will be held at 11:00am.
