Bancroft’s Committee of the Whole has been requested to look into continuing the downtown boardwalk project.
A notice of motion was presented to the committee, asking the town to send letters to the land owners refusing to allow the boardwalk, and ask them to reconsider.
The notice states the York River is being underutilized in Bancroft, and letting the boardwalk stay unfinished reflects poorly on the town.
Bancroft Council members will look into the motion at a later date.
