Police lay a number of charges after ATV stopped in Highlands East

A Dysart et al man is facing a number of charges after being stopped by police in Highlands East.

The Haliburton Highlands OPP says an ATV was stopped for speeding on Glamorgan Road on Saturday night.

A police investigation led to the 54-year-old driver being handed impaired driving charges, failing to provide insurance or a permit, driving while suspended and a number of others.

The accused is set to appear in Minden court in early July.
