The town of Bancroft is expecting to have a surplus from its water system infrastructure at the end of 2021.
CAO Hazel Lambe says the town is expecting to have a surplus of about $416,000 for the infrastructure, although any leftover funds would be moved into reserves.
A report to Bancroft’s Committee of the Whole from Treasurer Craig Davidson states the water account is expected to end in a deficit this year.
The report also sets out that, so far this year, the town is operating under its 2016 budget guidelines.
