The town of Bancroft is considering pressing charges against a person who allegedly illegally took down concrete barricades at Clark Lake.
CAO Hazel Lambe says the concrete blocks were put up to prevent people from launching gas-powered boats into the lake, which is the source of the town’s drinking water.
Recently, Bancroft Council spoke about sending a request to Transport Canada to have Clark Lake classified as restricted.
Signs have been put up asking people to not launch gas-powered boats onto the lake.
