Wollaston Reeve takes leave of absence

Wollaston Township’s Reeve is taking a leave of absence.

A statement by Graham Blair has been posted to the township’s website.

In it, Blair says this comes in light of recent events in his personal life, and he will be getting the treatment he needs for his health issues. He says this is best for his own welfare, and for the township.

Recently, police charged Blair for allegedly drinking and driving over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Deputy Reeve Marilyn Brickles will take up the role of head of Wollaston Council, and will represent the township at the county level.
