Youth in Action looks to become self-sustaining

North Hastings Youth in Action has a new social enterprise business model, to turn it into a self-sustaining organization.

Youth in Action offers a number of programs for local youth, based on community and youth needs.

Coordinator Shaan Dhillon says Youth in Action’s new goal is to become a self-sustaining organization.

Dhillon says giving youth the chance to take charge of these types of social enterprise projects will help them in the long run.
