Social Justice Without Borders continues to raise funds, but needs your help.
The group is made up of North Hastings residents, committed to raising $60,000, half of which will to bringing a Syrian refugee family to Bancroft, while the other half will go to North Hastings Community Trust.
Chair Judy Edgar says the first steps are in place to bring a Syrian family to Bancroft.
Edgar says the group has raised about $10,000 so far.

She hopes to raise $5,000 at a Gala taking place tomorrow at 6:00pm the Lakehouse Restaurant, and says some tickets are still available.
An information session is also being held on Friday night at St. Paul’s United Church at 7:00pm.
