A local transit service is asking Hastings Highlands for a $500 donation in 2017/2018.
Catch the TROUT CEO Heather Inwood-Montrose made the request to council, offering the municipality one day of service for an event of its choice that benefits seniors or those with disabilities in exchange.
Inwood-Montrose says the donation will help the transit service get gas tax funding from the province.
Over 170 people used Catch the TROUT in 2015/2016.
