Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for the Bancroft area.
The weather agency is calling for freezing rain amounting to 2 to 5 mms to fall in the area, which will change to patches of freezing drizzle late this afternoon or tonight.
This could make roads and walkways slippery, and drivers are being urged to stay off them if they don’t have to go anywhere.
