Snowmobilers reminded to respect private land

The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs is reminding sledders not to trespass on private land.

About 60 per cent of snowmobile trails cross private land because of deals between property owners and the OFSC.

Because of that, riders are being asked to stay on marked OFSC trails, ride between field stakes, and never go onto closed trails.

Not only does this help keep these OFSC trails open, but riders who don’t follow the rules can face trespassing charges.
