A Bancroft native is getting back behind the wheel for this year’s races at the Peterborough Speedway.
After taking last year off, Tim Burke will be competing again, racing a stock car in the Renegade Truck class.
Burke tells Moose FM why he’s getting back into the game.
Burke finished 2nd in points two years ago, before giving up his truck to another Bancroft local, Stephen Bierworth.

This year, Burke will once again be competing in his number 99 truck.
This year’s race schedule won’t be released until March, so there is no word yet on when Burke will be back in action.
