Police are warning you about a scam claiming there’s been fraud at your local bank.
The Haliburton Highlands OPP says scammers will call you, saying they are investigating fraud involving staff at your local bank.
These scammers will advise you not to call your bank, but to give them access to your computer and personal information to help protect you.
Police say this is a scam, and you should never give out personal information or passwords to someone you don’t know.
