A total of five people have been charged with distracted driving during the Bancroft OPP’s annual blitz.
Constable Phillippe Regamey confirms the number.
The OPP had been targeting those using hand-held devices behind the wheel during an annual blitz against distracted driving last week.
You are being reminded you can be fined up to $1,000, along with three demerit points, if you’re caught.
