You’re being asked to pitch-in and pick up garbage to make your community more beautiful.
Hastings Highlands is recognizing pitch-in week in the municipality until Sunday. You can pick up ‘pitch-in’ garbage bags at the municipal office to help clean up waste along municipal roads. You can find out more by contacting the municipal office at (613) 338-2811.
Bancroft and Faraday are also starting their pitch-in weeks today to help clean up the community. They run until Sunday, April 30th. To find out more, you can contact the town of Bancroft at (613) 332-3331 or Faraday at (613) 332-3638.
The municipality of Highlands East is also hosting a number of Earth Day clean-up events tomorrow from 10:00am until noon. Bags and gloves will be provided at the Cardiff Municipal Office, Wilberforce’s Lloyd Watson Centre, the Gooderham Community Centre, the North Bay Beach, and the Highlands Grove Community Centre.
