A sentencing hearing will be held tomorrow for a former Hastings County teacher who has pleaded guilty to sex crimes.
Police say Jaclyn McLaren, who also goes by Jaclyn Jones, was charged with 42 counts related to sex crimes involving youth between 12 and 15 years old in Tweed. In March, McLaren pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual exploitation, two counts of luring, possession of child porn, and making explicit material available to people under 18 and 16.
The former teacher with the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board has not taught since being arrested in February of last year.
