Judge quashes information in drinking and driving case against Wollaston’s Reeve

A procedural error has derailed a drinking and driving case against Wollaston’s Reeve.

Reeve Graham Blair had a Bancroft Court date on Tuesday, to face charges laid against him in October for driving over 80 mgs and impaired driving. However, the judge has quashed the information provided to the court.

Crown Attorney Adam Zegouras says there was an error in how the information was put together, so the case can’t proceed with it. Zegouras says he is now asking police to lay new impaired driving charges against Blair. At that point, he says a new trial could be set.
