A fatal collision in Highlands East, claimed the lives of two people and sent two others to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The multi-vehicle crash happened on Highway 118 between Trappers Trail and Essonville Line, around 5pm on Saturday. Police say an eastbound vehicle crossed the centre line, where it collided with four of seven motorcycles traveling westbound.
Police in Haliburton continue their investigation, and are looking for the public’s help in providing any relevant information.
