Former Bancroft Conservation Officer recognized by the province

A former Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry Conservation Officer in Bancroft has been recognized by the province.

Tim Rochette, who is now a provincial investigator in North Bay, has been named the Ontario Conservation Officer of the year. The province says Rochette demonstrates a strong commitment to protecting natural resources, ensuring public safety, and mentoring fellow officers.

Rochette received his conservation officer appointment in 1994.
