Ontario Parks wants you to connect with nature; offers free day-use

If you want to head to Algonquin or Silent Lake Provincial Park tomorrow, you won’t have to pay a nickel.

Ontario Parks says it’s opening its doors to everyone tomorrow, and there will no charge for day-use visitations at all operating provincial parks. On top of that, parks across Ontario will offer events and activities as part of the Healthy Parks, Healthy People movement.

Ontario Parks says it wants to increase awareness about the benefits of spending time in nature.

All park visitors will be given a complimentary day pass tomorrow, valid until 10:00pm.
