Bancroft Council still has questions about where funding for repairs to Highway 62 North will come from.
This comes after a washout on Highway 62 near the Eagles Nest Park caused major damage to the road towards the end of last month.
Public Works Manager Perry Kelly says, at this time, he is still unsure how much it will cost to repair because of the amount of work needed.
Kelly says it’s also unclear where the money for the repairs will come from.
CAO Hazel Lambe says it doesn’t seem disaster relief funding will be available to the town for the repairs. Council is expected to receive a report on the issue at an upcoming meeting.
