G1 Driver Charged with Stunt Driving on Highway 35

A G1 driver from Mississauga faces charges after being stopped by the OPP for allegedly driving 50km/h over the speed limit last week.  The Kawartha Lakes OPP say they stopped a car that was speeding on Highway 35.  They say the driver didn’t have a licenced driver with them, which is a requirement of a G1 licence.  The accused faces charges of stunt driving and having a G1 licence without a licensed driver in the car.  They’re due in Lindsay court May 12.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.
