The Peterborough County OPP recently stopped a vehicle on Lakefield Road after Automatic Licence Plate Recognition software alerted them that the vehicle could be stolen. The OPP say it turned out that the plates were stolen. The 38-year old Peterborough driver was charged with multiple offences including possessing property obtained by crime. She is due in court May 21.
