Hastings County is releasing past statistics from visits to the region. It says in 2012, just over 2.5 million people came to the County and 96 percent of visitors were from Ontario. Visits to the area increased as we got further into the year, with more than 800,000 people making the trip between October and December. There were more than 1.5 million same-day visits and just over 1 million overnight visits here in that year.
