Loyalist College student heading to national skills competition

A Loyalist College trades student is competing in a national skills competition after winning first place in Ontario recently.

Steven Mullin, a student in the Manufacturing Engineering Technician program, took home gold in the mechanical computer aided drafting category in the Ontario Technological Skills Competition May 4 to 6 in Waterloo.  He’ll compete in this year’s Skills Canada National Competition in Saskatoon May 27 to 30.

Other Loyalist students also competed, including Ben Bryan who won a bronze medal in the computer aided manufacturing group.
