A planned power outage is to happen in Belleville and the surrounding areas May 31 from 5 a.m. until 9 a.m. and our local health unit wants residents to be prepared.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health says you should always obey instructions from Hydro One and Veridian.  Charge your devices, including radios and flashlights. Turn off all appliances and electronics in your home to prevent power surges. Leave all barbecues and camp stoves outside and don’t use them for heat indoors.
