The OPP are reminding the public to be cautious when riding ATVs.
They say two people have died in ATV collisions in the OPP’s east region this year, including a 17-year old Hastings Highlands boy who died when his ATV went into the ditch on Airport Road recently.
The OPP say they encountered various offences in weekend patrols in Bancroft in Napanee over the weekend. These included 15-year olds using ATVs on the highway and teenage ATV drivers failing to wear helmets.
