Accreditation Canada has given Quinte Health Care exemplary standing, its highest designation.
Surveyors visited all four QHC hospitals, including here in Bancroft, from May 4 to 8. QHC was found in compliance with 99.9 percent of the categories that were looked at.
Mary Clare Egberts, president and CEO of QHC, says a reason why the score was so high is that staff and volunteers are always trying to improve the care they offer.
