Tomorrow is the start of Family Fishing Week in Ontario.
From July 4 to 12, Ontario residents of all ages can fish for free, without a licence. You’re reminded to still obey the rules of the 2015 Fishing Regulations Summary. Special events are scheduled in provincial parks across the province.
Locally, the Kids, Cops and Canadian Tire Fishing Derby is being hosted by the Bancroft District Fish and Game Protective Association. It’s happening Saturday at the marina on Baptiste Lake.
