The Combermere Recreation Committee is looking to expand its team.
Resident Cheryl Stanley represented the committee at the Madawaska Valley Recreation, Heritage and Culture meeting yesterday. She says the amount of events that the committee is responsible for is becoming very busy for the eight-person team. The group puts on the annual summer CO Blitz and is now working on Halloween and New Year’s events.
Those looking to volunteer can contact the township for details. The next meeting is September 16th at the community centre in Combermere at 7:00pm.
