Local MP-elect Mike Bossio says he has been limited to what he can do for the community until he’s sworn in.
Bossio will officially assume the role of MP for the Hastings-Lennox and Addington riding tomorrow at a ceremony in Ottawa.
Bossio says he is trying to learn about the community, but it’s difficult to help until he is sworn into his role.
Bossio says he has made sure people can still contact him.

Bossio says he is hitting the ground running as he has already hired his staff, but still needs access to back-door government information to start helping the community.
