The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board Special Education Committee is meeting tonight.
The board says committee will be reviewing the Ministry of Education’s Individual Education Plan. It was created in 2004, and the committee is considering asking the Ministry to review it.
They will also talk about the development of a “best practices” companion piece, which would address staff awareness of individual education plans and strategies to facilitate instruction.
The meeting takes place at the Board’s headquarters tonight in Stirling at 5 pm.
