The Rally of the Tall Pines is happening again this weekend in Bancroft. It’s part of the Canadian Rally Championships.
Rally organizers say this year will be different as the vehicles will be on display in town at Flint and Hastings from 2:30 to 4:30pm. They say there will also be a spectator stage partnered with Tim Hortons in support of our local food bank.
Forty-three-time Canadian Rally Champion Antoine L’Estage says the Rally of the Tall Pines is always very unpredictable.
L’Estage says people like the sport due to its extreme nature.
L’Estage says the amount of people that come to town for the event will benefit the economy.
