Missing Canoeists Found Safe

All five people reported as overdue to return from a canoe trip have been found safe. Centre Hastings OPP was called out at 10:15 Thursday morning when the five failed to return as expected. The OPP helicopter and Emergency Response Team were sent out to search the area around
Beaver Creek in Tudor-Cashel Township. Three of the canoeists and two canoes were spotted by helicopter, just before noon today and the other two were located around 1:00 p.m. The OPP say that all the travellers were in good condition and planned to continue their trip
