Free training for your summer staff and volunteers about the tourism events, attractions and activities that take place within Hastings County, is available through the Annual Visitor Information Centre and Summer Staff Training session. This year the event will be hosted by the Bancroft and be trained to provide outstanding customer service to visitors, as well as direct you to resources where you can find information on specific tourism needs. The “in-class training” takes place at the Bancroft and District Chamber of Commerce office from 8:30 a.m. until Noon. The FAM bus tour, covering North Hastings (Bancroft, Hastings Highlands, Wollaston, and Limerick) leaves at Noon and returns at 4:30 p.m. Lunch is between 11:30 a.m. and Noon.
