An ATV operator is facing multiple charges after he tried to avoid a R.I.D.E. check program Quin-Mo-Lac Road in Centre Hastings. Officers saw an ATV approach, turn around and leave before being reaching the check point. The ATV was found by an officer, a short time later on Watson Lane near Highway 62. The 56 year old Madoc woman driving was charged with operating an off road vehicle with no driver’s licence, no insurance and carrying a passenger. The ATV was towed from the scene.
