Coming off a record-setting 48 regular season wins, the appetite for the Toronto Raptors during their playoff run is evident on social media, in sales, sponsorship and on television. Social media activity around the Raptors is up 350% so far during the playoffs, compared with the regular season, with Facebook Likes up 160% and Twitter followers up 80%. Presently the club is at a 95% season seat renewal rate and has secured more than 1,500 new season seats. The President and CEO of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, Tim Leiweke, says that the support for the Raptors this season has made Toronto one of the most passionate markets in the NBA.
