Time to say “Thanks Doc!” To recognize the more than 26,000 medical professionals in Ontario, the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) has launched its annual Doctors’ Day campaign. During the month of May, you are invited to celebrate Doctors’ Day by submitting a personalized thank-you message to your doctor and then sharing your stories through OntariosDoctors.com, or by tweeting using #thanksdoc. Your submissions will be entered into a draw for a chance for you to win an iPad. Every physician’s office has been estimated to create 4 full-time jobs in their community, contribute $205,000 in GDP and pay $50,000 in tax revenue for the municipal, provincial and federal governments.
