Bancroft will soon have its own brewery. The South Algonquin Eatery and Pub is only a year old and it is already expanding. The Krupa family has decided to change the name to the “Bancroft Eatery and Brew Pub.” According to Logan Krupa, it is going to be a Nano-brewery, producing different craft beers. Dark ales, lagers and seasonally flavoured beers will be brewed right in the Hotel. The beer will be sold in the pub or in growlers and kegs in the soon to be built retail space. Head chef Jeff Jenkins is already working on a new menu for the Bancroft Eatery and Brew Pub and everything will go great with a locally crafted beer. The new signs will be going up in the next few weeks and the first beer should be available on tap at the Bancroft Eatery and Brew Pub by late summer.
