Killaloe OPP Busy

A 52 year-old Killaloe man is facing charges after being stopped by police on Mill Street, Killaloe on Saturday evening.  The accused has been charged with Care and Control and Operating a motor vehicle with a Blood/alcohol Level Over 80. He is scheduled to appear in Killaloe Court in June.

Killaloe OPP is investigating the theft of a boat motor and generator.  Sometime during the week of April 29th to May 2nd the generator and boat motor were taken from a garage on Major Lake Road in South Algonquin Township. Killaloe OPP is also investigating the theft of a green, three barrel style, hand water pump. During the evening of April 26th, the pump was taken from the back of a truck parked on John Watson Road in Hagarty Richards Township. Anyone with information about either of these thefts is asked to call the Killaloe OPP or Crime Stoppers.

The OPP is investigating vandalism to the Whitney Public School. Sometime between May 1st and May 2nd, damage was done to the school. Anyone with information about this vandalism is asked to call the Killaloe OPP or Crime Stoppers.
