The 2014 Canada Road Safety Week Campaign began on Tuesday and ends at midnight, Monday May 19th. During this campaign Officers from the OPP will be watching for high risk driving behaviours that place others at risk. Officers will be enforcing the “Big Four” major causes of death and injury on our roadways; impaired driving, aggressive driving, distracted driving and failure to wear or improper use of seatbelts. Staff Sergeant Mark Wolfe, Detachment Commander of the Bancroft OPP, says that “reducing victimization on our roadways remains a priority of the Bancroft OPP.”
