Haliburton OPP have charged three people from MindenĀ after a car was driven on school playing fields, a baseball diamond and at a park resulting in extensive damage. Police responded to the first call at Haliburton Highlands Secondary School around 2:15 on Tuesday morning. The culprits were gone when officers arrived. A second call brought police to Minden where the baseball fields were damaged. Then around 5:00 a.m. police discovered a disabled 2003 Chevrolet Malibu and its occupants at a park on Pacific road in Minden. More damage had been done there as well. The driver, a 20 year-old Minden woman was charged with Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle, Operating a Motor Vehicle with Over a blood/alcohol level over 80 and Mischief Over $5000. A 20 year-old and a19 year-old passenger were both charged with Mischief Over $5000.
