The province’s Special Investigations Unit is investigating the death of a 26-year-old man from Bancroft.
Officials say yesterday, they received reports of an assault and threatening behaviour.
Shortly after 10:00pm, Bancroft OPP along with the Tactics and Rescue Unit, entered the home and located a deceased man.
Officials say 13 witness officers are on scene as part of the investigation.
