Bancroft OPP conducted several R.I.D.E checks on roadways in the detachment area over the Victoria Day long weekend. They say that 106 vehicles were checked, resulting in just three seatbelt charges and two Highway Traffic Act charges being laid. You are reminded that R.I.D.E. checks are not just a holiday or long weekend campaign and they will continue throughout the year.
