The use of the Caboose will remain in the hands of the Art Gallery of Bancroft for the moment. Council was informed that other parties are interested in the use of the Caboose located next to the Old Train Station. Currently there is an understanding between the Town and the Art Gallery of Bancroft, giving the Art Gallery the right to use it. The Art Gallery has apparently been approached by the Chamber of Commerce to see if they could use it as the Art Gallery currently is not. Discussion suggested that if the Art Gallery does not wish to use the caboose, then the town will re-assume control and any other interested parties should approach the town. Staff was directed to the matter to clarify what the gallery wishes and who else may be interested. The Heritage Museum was also mentioned as wanting to utilize the Caboose.
